Unruly Subjects
with Chenjerai Kumanyika

Chenjerai Kumanyika, host of the award-winning podcasts Empire City and Uncivil, is known for connecting history, politics, and powerful storytelling. Unruly Subjects is his new weekly podcast, created in partnership with Rowhome Productions, where he brings all that energy to the present moment.

This is not just news analysis—it’s a raw, unscripted space for listeners to join Chenjerai, his family, and his community to think through the week’s politics, culture, and struggles together.

With humor, music, interviews, and personal reflections, the show becomes a gathering place to laugh, debate, and stay grounded while making sense of the world.

Unruly Subjects is created and produced in partnership with Rowhome Productions.
